# Shubham Goel

> Machine learning engineer with ~8 years across computer vision, multimodal models, and recommender systems. Most recently a Senior MLE at Meta on Instagram Ads Ranking. Now focused on multimodal LLMs, post-training, and evals. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Shubham builds small, focused models and the eval harnesses that prove they work. He has a habit of turning real-world annoyances into ML problems, e.g. curbcheck, a vision-language model he trained to read San Francisco parking signs after collecting two tickets in one week.
